Ulrich Schlegel

Ulrich Schlegel was born in Stuttgart, Germany in 1970, and at the age of 5 moved to Essen, where he studied and then worked as a social worker. From a young age, Ulrich has always been fascinated by computers. As an adult, after working for 5 years as a social worker, he decided to focus full time on his primary interest (computers and networking) and began studying to become a Microsoft Certified System Engineer. Once certified, he worked for a number of years as a System Engineer and Administrator primarily for Rheinisch Westfälisches Elektrizitätswerk (RWE). He also worked as a technical trainer teaching topics such as Microsoft Windows and Office in the Essen Economical Training Center (Bildunszentrum der Wirtschaft).

In September 2003, Ulrich moved to Las Palmas, birthplace of his wife, Beatríz González Ramírez, and founded Clevernet.

Ulrich specializes in local and wide area network installation and configuration, and installation, configuration and administration of Microsoft Exchange, Terminal Server, and Active Directory, in addition to being a general hardware guru.
